The Mamou Police Department has joined forces with local law enforcement agencies in Evangeline Parish and St. Landry Parish to put a stop to the ramped spree of counterfeit check cashing that has taken place over the last several months in the two parishes.

The following individuals failed to appear in the Ville Platte City Court. Bench warrants have been issued by Judge Gregory Vidrine, for these individuals, for their failure to appear in court on traffic tickets and other misdemeanor charges for the months of April, 2016.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Patraveyanna George on April 25, 2016 after she became a suspect in the recent burning of the Dupre House, located on Main Street in Ville Platte.
