Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office lists 13 recent arrests
The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 13 bookings recently in the parish jail.
Arrested were the following:
•Brandon Kyle James, 21, 3113 Alfa Romel Road, Basile, was charged June 22, with DWI (second offense) and careless operation. James was released on a $2,084.
•Joseph Velton Thibodeaux, 60, 522 Main St., Mamou, was charged June 24, with DWI (first offense), careless operation and no driver’s license. Thibodeaux was released on a $1,401.50 bond.
•James Christopher Johnson, 36, 209 Fourth St., Mamou, was charged June 27, with domestic abuse battery. No bond information was available.
•Ivan Cormier, 62, 208 Mulberry St., Mamou, was charged June 27, with forcible rape and oral sexual battery of a 13 year old male juvenile. No bond information was available.
•Shelli Ann Marie Rollins, 22, 736 W. Cotton St., Ville Platte, was charged June 27, with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, disturbing the peace, telephone harassment and simple criminal damage to property. Rollins was released on a $7,500 bond.
•Geraldo Orlandz Nelson, 22, 1235 W. Live Oak St., Ville Platte, was charged June 28, with possession of Schedule III narcotics (hydrocodone). Nelson remained incarcerated on a $10,000 bond.
•Hilton Adam Verrett Jr., 50, 3117 Hilltop Lane, Ville Platte, was charged June 28, with DWI (first offense) and operating an ATV on a public roadway. Verrett was released on a $1,226.50 bond.
•Darwin Kiniski Lewis, 27, 810 Te Mamou Road, Ville Platte, was charged June 29, with simple burglary of a pharmacy and possession with intent to distribute Schedule III narcotics (hydrocodone). Lewis was released on a $20,000 bond.
•Bobby Lee Trattles II, 17, 6660 Oakdale Road, Mamou, was charged June 29, with misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Trattles was released on a $3,000 bond.
•Marsha Renee Veznia, 49, 217 Seventh St., Mamou, was charged June 29, with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and distribution of marijuana. Vezina was released on a $5,000 bond.
•Erika Fay Miller, 23, 1129 Fourth St., Pine Prairie, was charged June 29, with issuing worthless checks. Miller was released on a $750 bond.
•Eddie Lee Birden Jr., 35, 401(A) N. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was charged June 29, with possession of marijuana, distribution of crack cocaine and possession with intent to distribute hydrocodone. Birden remained incarcerated on a $20,000 bond.
•Daryl Wayne Ardoin, 45, 314 S. Soileau Road, Ville Platte, was charged with simple burglary of a pharmacy and simple criminal damage to property. Ardoin remained incarcerated on a $15,000 bond.
•Daniel Keith Fuselier, 33, 1058 Necessity Loop, Basile, was charged June 29, with aggravated assault. Fuselier was released on a $3,500 bond.
•Jason Phillip Cradeur, 27, 121 Allison Drive, Crowley, was charged June 29, with aggravated assault. Cradeur was released on a $3,500 bond.
•Casey O’Neal Joseph, 19, 112 E. Beauregard St., Ville Platte, was charged June 30, with distribution of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana). Joseph was released on a $15,000 bond.
•Joanna Lafleur, 56, 514 E. Jackson St., Ville Platte, was charged June 30, with distribution of Schedule II narcotics (hydrocodone and acetominophan). Lafleur was released on a $15,000 bond.
•Davis Nicholas Lewis Jr., 27, 819 N. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was charged June 30, with distribution of Schedule II narcotics (crack cocaine). Lewis was released on a $15,000 bond.
•Anthony James Sias, 40, 3636 Stagg Ave., Basile, was charged June 30, with interference with the duties of an officer, inciting to riot and obstruction of justice. Sias remained incarcerated on a $125,000 bond.
•Shelly Ann Sias, 36, 3636 Stagg Ave., Basile, was charged June 30, with interfering with the duties of an officer, inciting to riot and obstruction of justice. Sias was released on a $2,500 bond.
•Nicholas Paul Johnson, 30, 275 Ronald Road, Ville Platte, was charged July 1, with aggravated assault. Johnson was released on a $3,500 bond.
•Harry Joseph Reed, 38, 3768 Heritage Road, Ville Platte, was charged July 1, with aggravated incest (three counts) and molestation of juveniles (three counts). Reed remained incarcerated on a $250,000 bond.
•Jason Lynn Richard, 39, 601 Chestnut St., Apt. C, Mamou, was charged July 4, with simple battery. Richard was released on a $1,000 bond.
