Lady Cajuns meet Kentucky to begin Softball CWS

For the first time since 2008, the ULL Lady Cajuns are set to play on the diamonds of Oklahoma City. The action is set to kick off today.
ULL (48-8-1) faces the Lady Wildcats of Kentucky (47-18) today at 6 p.m.. ULL defeated Arizona on the outstanding pitching of Christina Hamilton and got some timely hitting when necessary. Hamilton, who pitched at Rosepine High School, developed into the Cajuns’ Ace early in the season.
UK, the 14th seed overall, upset the No. 3 Seed UCLA in the Super Regional.
The winner will play Friday at 8:30 p.m. and the loser will play Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The best of three finals will be played June 2-4 with each game starting at 7 p.m.
