Happy Mother’s Day to all moms from the staff of Heritage Manor. We appreciate all moms and sincerely hope each one is shown love and attention on this special day and throughout the year. Our mothers will be honored at a celebration party on Monday, May 9 at 1:30 p.m. in the activity room. We will be serving cake and punch to all in attendance. We will also present an award to the most active mother. A movie trip to the Grand Theatre in Alexandria was enjoyed by all.
We begin celebrating National Nursing Home Week today, residents and staff alike. Many thanks to our friends and supporters who donated food, barbecue sauce and door prizes for our fun week. Each year, we get a lot of support from our therapy department and dietary staff. We thank them for the extra work we put them through. We will have a dress out week to celebrate, with Hats Off to the Residents Day on Monday, Heritage Manor T-shirt Day on Tuesday, Western Wear Day on Wednesday, Tacky Day on Thursday and Patriotic Day on Friday.
