Heritage Manor News: Parties, parties, parties

(Editor’s Note: The following article was submitted by Patricia Duplechin, resident activity director at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte. This column runs every Sunday in The Gazette.)
Many thanks to our VFW/Ladies Auxiliary Post #3803 for their generosity and compassion for our residents. Everyone enjoyed the great pizza and boudin party given yesterday. Today at 3 p.m., members of St. John Baptist Church will hold their service in the activity room for all interested.
The monthly resident birthday party will be held Wednesday, December 9, at 2 p.m. in the activity room.
On Thursday, December 10, we are expecting the local 4-Hers to come by for caroling at 2 p.m.
The Catholic Daughters will host their party on Friday, December 11. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. in the activity room.
Bingo sponsored by Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be held Saturday, December 12, at 1:30 p.m.
Congratulations to December Employee of the Month Betty Landreneau and Resident of the Month Hazel Ortego.
Many thanks to the Cajunettes for their donation of needed items to our loved ones
We are looking forward to entertainment this month provided by T-Rob Soileau on December 5.
On December 10, Knights of Columbus member Gerald Fontenot and his wife, Verna, will host their annual party on behalf of the KCs.
