Heritage Manor News: Volunteers are great

We are very blessed at Heritage Manor by our devoted volunteers. I won’t go into naming each one, for they are all special to me and our residents and we don’t want to leave anyone out. The volunteer we are mentioning today will get special recognition because of her recent accomplishments. She is one of a kind and is known and loved by all who meet her. We congratulate Monique Jack for being selected as the State Volunteer of the Year! She was nominated for the last three years by Administrator Trey Prudhomme, Dietary Food Service Manager Janice Deville and myself for her excellent job performance, dedication and her true love of the elderly. She was honored at the Louisiana Nursing Home Association Fall Conference in New Orleans on September 25, along with several other award winners in different categories. She has attended this conference for the last four years and is familiar with many faces from various nursing homes. We are so proud of her and wish her all the best.
The staff of Heritage Manor welcomes Geraldine Guillory to the facility.

Tomorrow, September 30, the staff and residents of Heritage Manor will be attending a bingo blowout in Church Point, along with several other nursing homes. Special thanks to Teet’s Grocery, Paul’s Meat Market and Leroy’s Cajun Meats for the generous donation for the gumbo to be served at the blowout.
