EPSO Arrest Reports

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff Office reported nine recent booking into the town jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Sherri J. Pousson, 46, 1625 N. Green St., Basile, was arreseted on November 20, 2015 for possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of control dangerous substance (CDS) laws (two counts), possession of schedule II CDS (two counts), and simple battery (one count).
• Sandra C. Williams, 20, 1392 Rollins Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on November 20, 2015 for attempted first degree murder (two counts), aggravated flight from an officer, careless operation, speeding, and misrepresentation during booking.
• Christopher P. Jack, 30, 1014 Third St., Mamou, was arrested on November 20, 2015 for distribution/manufacture or possession with intent of schedule II (two counts) and violation of CDS (two counts). Jack was released from jail on a $5,000.00 bond.
• James D. Guillory, 62, 1149 Dusty Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on November 21, 2015 for disturbing the peace and resisting arrest. Guillory was released from jail on a $3,000.00 bond.
• Willie Melvin, 31, 421 W. Cypress St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 2, 2015 for aggravated flight from an officer, resisting an officer, resisting an officer violently, simple escape, simple assault, disobeying a stop sign and yield sign, reckless operation of a vehicle, aggravated kidnapping, driving under suspension, aggravated battery, unauthorized use of a movable vehicle, simple battery, and public intimidation. Melvin’s bond was set at $101,000.00.
• Crystal L. Cormier, 33, 239 Teddy St., Crowley, was arrested on December 4, 2015 for monetary instrument abuse. Cormier’s bond has been set at $35,000.00.
• Donald R. Attle, 51, 806 N. Latour St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 5, 2015 for issuing worthless checks. Attle was released from jail on a $750.00 bond.
• Shannon Vidrine, 43, 185 Evelyn Rd., was arrested on December 5, 2015 for disturbing the peace (intoxication) and resisting an officer. Vidrine was released from jail on a $1,500.00 bond.
• Terry W. Babineaux Jr., 38, 806 Saddle Drive, Eunice, was arrested on December 5, 2015 for theft. Babineaux was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
