EPSO Arrest Reports

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 14 recent bookings into the town jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Robert R. Guillory Sr., 71, 1702 France rd., Eunice, was arrested on May 3, 2016 for aggravated assault with a firearm. Guillory’s bond has been set at $30,000.00.
• Gregory L. Hunt, 53, 1252 Wiley Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on May 3, 2016 for speeding 35 in a 25 and driving while intoxicated (second offense). Hunt was released from jail on a $2,500.00 bond.
• Christopher D. Mouyas, 40, 1341 South Berwick, Basile, was arrested on May 3, 2016 for disturbing the peace by intoxication and telephone communication (improper language harassment, two counts). Mouyas was released from jail on a $12,500.00 bond.
• Dawn B. Fontenot, 33, 1112 East St. Apt. C, Mamou, was arrested on May 4, 2016 for issuing worthless checks. Fontenot was released from jail on a $250.00 bond.
• Damien Clark, 26, 1088 King Blvd., Ville Platte, was arrested on May 4, 2016 for distribution/manufacturing or possession with the intent of a schedule I controlled dangerous substance, distribution/manufacturing or possession with the intent of a schedule II of a CDS, prohibited acts/drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer, and battery of a police officer. Clark’s bond was set at $52,500.00.
• Christopher B. Bergeron, 22, 1251 Pool St., Mamou, was arrested on May 4, 2016 for domestic abuse battery (child endangerment) and domestic abuse on a pregnant woman.
• Johnathan G. Ardoin, 725 N. Latour St., Ville Platte, was arrested on May 4, 2016 for possession of a schedule II CDS, violation of a CDS, prohibited acts, and drug paraphernalia. Birden was released from jail on a $32,500.00 bond.
• Eddie L. Birden, 40, 509 E. Jefferson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on May 4, 2016 for possession of a schedule I CDS, distribution/manufacturing with the intent to distribute a CDS, and resisting an officer. Birden’s bond was set at $22,500.00.
• Ashley Jones, 25, 10053 Prejean Rd., Opelousas, was arrested on May 4, 2016 for theft over $750.00 (six counts). Jones was released form jail on a $30,000.00 bond.
• Mackenzie L. Dixon, 27, 511 Vidrine St., Ville Platte, was arrested on May 4, 2016 for possession of a schedule II CDS, violation of CDS, prohibited acts (drug paraphernalia), and possession of a schedule I CDS. Dixon was released from jail on a $27,500.00.
• Cynthia L. Broussard, 38, 1086 Regile Lane, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 4, 2016 for issuing worthless checks (three counts). Broussard was released from jail on a $425.00 bond.
• Charlotte A. Johnson, 55, 1271 Tyrone Rd., Eunice, was arrested May 6, 2016 for obstruction of justice, interference with duties of a State Trooper, and careless operation. Johnson was released from jail on a $7,500.00.
• Helen L. Fontenot, 19, 1213 E Tienne St., Ville Platte, was arrested on May 7, 2016 for monetary instrument abuse. Fontenot was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Eugene Pitre IV, 41, 1004 Phillip St., Opelousas, was arrested on May 7, 2016 for driving while intoxicated, improper lane usage, and no driver’s license. Pitre was released from jail on a $1,500.00 bond.
