Mamou police report eight recent arrests

MAMOU - The Mamou Police Department reported they made eight arrests recently.
The following persons were charged:
•Brock Andre Reed, 20, 5734 Nick Mantone Road, Iowa, was charged September 23, with second degree battery. Reed was transferred to the parish jail.
•Carl James Sylvester, 33, 1640 Cajun Drive, #36, Mamou, was charged September 23, with simple criminal damage to property. Sylvester was transferred to the parish jail.
•John Durio, 601 Chestnut St., Apt. C, Mamou, was charged September 25, with theft. Durio was released for time served the next day.
•Kelvin Tezeno, 34, 2125 Fifth St., Mamou, was charged September 26, with disturbing the peace. Tezeno bonded out of jail the same day.
•Bartholomew Noel, 43, 1012 Fifth St., Mamou, was charged September 26, with simple battery. Noel bonded out of jail the same day.
•Sara Kay Navarre, 26, 1015 Maple, #145, Mamou, was charged September 28, with harassment. Navarre bonded out of jail the same day.
•Mickey Richard, 46, 808 Sixth St., Mamou, was charged September 28, with disturbing the peace and aggravated assault with a knife. Richard was transferred to the parish jail.
•Micky Lavergne, 45, 2248 Old Highway 13, Mamou, was charged September 28, with disturbing the peace. Lavergne bonded out of jail the same day.
