Mamou police report five recent arrests

MAMOU - The Mamou Police Department reported they made five arrests recently.
The following persons were charged:
•Callen Arvie, 65, 513 Fifth St., Mamou, was charged October 1, with suspended driver’s license, no insurance and misrepresentation. Arvie bonded out of jail.
•Erick Lastrapes, 42, 1108 Chestnut, Mamou, was charged October 1, with disturbing the peace with loud music. Lastrapes bonded out of jail the same day.
•Shelton Treymore Robinson, 27, 101 Railroad Ave., Mamou, was charged October 5, with disturbing the peace while intoxicated (two counts), interfering with the duties of an officer and flight from an officer. Robinson remained in jail at press time.
•Elton Wayne Rideaux, 46, 820 Ash St., Mamou, was charged October 5, with domestic abuse battery. Rideaux was transferred to the parish jail.
•Kimberly A. Voris, 26, 820 Ash St., Mamou, was charged October 5, with criminal damage to property and simple escape. Voris was transferred to the parish jail.
