Pine Prairie Police arrest man for felony carnal knowledge

PINE PRAIRIE -- According to a Pine Prairie Police Department press release, after a two week long investigation “Ryan Luke Bordelon has been arrested in connection with Felony Carnal Knowledge.”
Mr. Bordelon left the town of Pine Prairie, and headed south to Lake Charles with a juvenile whose parents had supposedly emancipated the juvenile.
When an investigating officer was advised to look into a possible case involving Mr. Bordelon, the officer then learned that the order for emancipation of the juvenile was never filed in the Clerk of Courts office or signed by any judge.
It was then, that a warrant for the arrest of Bordelon was issued .
Along with the help of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office and the investigating officer, law enforcement officer’s were able to get Bordelon to return with the juvenile and turn himself in.
At this time, Bordelon remains in the Evangeline Parish Jail on a $10,000.00 bond.
Another recent arrest in Pine Prairie involved a theft that took place at the village’s local Family Dollar Store.
On January 5, 2016 Tiffany Lynette Doucet, of the Iota area, was arrested after Doucet attempted to walk out of the Family Dollar without paying for her items.
According to a Pine Prairie Police Department press release, the items that Doucet was trying to steal were “clothing apparel and three packs of earrings.”
Doucet was transported to the parish jail, where she remained until being released on a $5,000.00 bond.
