sheriff's office reports 11 recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 11 recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Marc Matthew Johnson, 20, 5458 Chicot Park Road, Ville Plstte, was charged April 28, with carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Johnson was released from jail on a $25,000 bond.
•Bryon Coby Adams, 32, 704 Calcasieu St., Ville Platte, was charged April 30, with disturbing the peace by intoxication and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. Adams remained in jail on a $15,000 bond at press time.
•Justin Brock King, 27, 1095 Lake Cove Road, Turkey Creek, was charged April 27, with stalking. King was released from jail on a $10,000 bond.
•Jerome Ardoin, 37, 220 Prairiedale Ave., Ville Platte, was charged May 1, with disturbing the peace and threatening a public official. Ardoin was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Tyjuan Smith, 22, 301 E. Long St., Ville Platte, was charged May 6, with violation of a protective order. Smith was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Joey Joseph Fontenot, 22, 401 N. Latour St., Ville Platte, was charged April 25, with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and obstructing public passage. Fontenot was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Perry Mayes Jr., 23, 916 N. Stagg St., Ville Platte, was charged May 6, with failure to register as a sex offender. Mayes was being held in jail on a $15,000 bond at press time.
•Rita Ann Menard, 49, 2405 Dr. Boby Deshotel Ave., Basile, was charged May 6, with theft under $500 and trespassing. Menard was released from jail on a $1,000 bond.
•Candance Lynn Menard, 29, 2412 Third St., Basile, was charged May 6, with theft under $500 and trespassing. Menard was released from jail on a $1,000 bond.
•Marie Tresha Thomas, 19, 2405 East St., Mamou, was charged May 6, with theft and unauthorized use of a card. Thomas was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
•Felicia Ann Arvie, 33, 509 East St., Mamou, was charged May 6, with theft and unauthorized use of a card. Arvie was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
