sheriff's office reports 13 recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 13 recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Sheila Davis, 38, 1104 Wade Road, Cheneyville, was charged April 4, with possession of Schedule II, possession of a legend drug, illegal use of controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Davis was being held in jail on a $35,000 bond at press time.
•Marty Paul Blood, 47, 1595 Black Lake Road, St. Landry, was charged April 7, with insurance required, modified exhaust, introduction of contraband into a penal institution and criminal trespassing. Blood was being held in jail on a $15,000 bond at press time.
•Joshua Scott Person, 33, 109 Ollie Young Rd., Eunice, was charged April 6, with accessory after the fact to aggravated rape and aggravated kidnapping. Person was being held in jail on a $500,000 bond at press time.
•Tommey Travis Smith, 22, 1108 Rollins Road, Ville Platte was charged April 2, with criminal conspiracy to commit theft, criminal conspiracy to commit instrument abuse, theft over $3,000, monetary instrument abuse, and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Smith was being held in jail on a $20,000 bond at press time.
•Scotty Joseph McDaniel, 39, 2803 Tate Cove Road, Ville Platte, was charged April 6, with prohibited acts and drug paraphernalia. McDaniel was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
•Melvin Watson, 65, 508 M.L.K. St., Ville Platte, was charged April 9, with aggravated rape (two counts). Watson was being held in jail on a $500,000 bond at press time.
•Heather Sue Merritt, 17, 1109 Sixth St., Pine Prairie, was charged April 10, with improper lane change, no driver’s license, expired plate, hit and run and failure to report a crash. Merritt was released from jail on a $791.50 bond.
•David Dewayne Lafleur, 53, 213 Cheryl St., Ville Platte, was charged April 11, with resisting an officer and aggravated assault with a firearm. Lafleur was being held in jail on a $45,000 bond.
•Jarrod Anthony Ross, 33, 1099 Acadian Drive, Ville Platte, was charged April 10, with issuing worthless checks (three counts). Ross was being held in jail on a $800 bond at press time.
•Pamela Grace Guillot, 53, 1475 Jenkins Road, Cheneyville, was charged April 11, with disturbing the peace by intoxication. Guillot was being held in jail on a $750 bond at press time.
•Laken Miranda Gautreaux, 21, 148 Woody Lane, Ville Platte, was charged April 12, with cyber stalking. Gautreaux was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Paul Wilson, 46, 213 E. Jackson St., Ville Platte, was charged April 13, with simple burglary (two counts), theft (two counts) and simple criminal damage to property (two counts). Wilson was being held in jail on a $185,000 bond at press time.
•Warren Paul Guillory, 60, 2056 Junction Road, Ville Platte, was charged April 13, with terrorism (two counts). Guillory was being held in jail on a $100,000 bond at press time.
