Sheriff's office reports 14 recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 14 recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Gabriel M. Eaglin, 27, 140 Texas Eastern Road, Opelousas, was charged June 17, with possession of marijuana synthetic. Eaglin was released from jail on a $1,500 bond.
•Beau Matthew Blanchard, 37, 913 Elm St., Mamou, was charged June 16, with manufacture of Schedule I marijuana. Blanchard was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Katie Danielle Fontenot, 18, 1277 Saddler St., Turkey Creek, was charged June 17, with remaining after being forbidden. Fontenot was released from jail on a $250 bond.
•Damien Keith Duplechain, 32, 207 Maple St., Mamou, was charged June 17, with no seat belt, no driver’s license in possession and possession of legend drugs without a prescription. Duplechain was being held in jail on a $7,500 bond at press time.
•Ricky Lee Thomas, 50, 1214 MLK St., Ville Platte, was charged June 17, with failure to produce state identification card as a sex offender. Thomas was released from jail on a $15,000 bond.
•Donald Wayne Fuselier, 44, 417 South St., Apt A, Mamou, was charged June 17, with domestic abuse battery and aggravated burglary. Fuselier was released from jail on a $15,000 bond.
•Jaonnie O’neal Arvie, 26, 6582 Pine Point, Ville Platte, was charged June 18, with simple possession of Schedule II, flight from an officer, improper lane change and theft. Arvie was released from jail on a $2,500 bond.
•Wesley Bertrand, 19, 504 Chestnut, Mamou, was charged June 18, with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of stolen goods. Bertrand was being held in jail on a $30,000 bond at press time.
•Bret Bertrand, 17, 10086 Veterans Memorial Highway, Ville Pltte, was charged June 18, with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Bertrand was being held in jail on a $15,000 bond at press time.
•Brandon Scott Godchaux, 21, 1246 Green Oaks Loop, Eunice, was charged June 20, with no driver’s license, DWI and reckless operation. Godchaux was released from jail on a $216 bond.
•Jody P. Bordelon, 57, 1186 North Chataignier Road, Ville Platte, was charged June 20, with no seat belt and possession of Schedule II. Bordelon was released from jail on a $3,000 bond.
•Loban Blaze Miller, 18, 1350 W. Vine, Eunice, was charged June 20, with contributing to the delinquency, carnal knowledge and forcible rape. Miller was released from jail on a $50,000 bond.
•Ronald Freeman, 45, 1115 W. Live Oak St., Ville Platte, was charged June 21, with open container and possession of Schedule II. Freeman was released from jail on a $20,000 bond.
•Joseph Zachery Messer, 24, 1206 Happy Hollow Road, Turkey Creek, was charged June 22, with theft, resisting an officer and simple criminal damage to property. Messer was being held in jail on a $7,500 bond at press time.
