Sheriff's office reports 16 recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 16 recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Roger Celestine, 55, 3917 Vidrine Road, Ville Platte, was charged February 24, with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. Celestine was being held in jail on a $15,000 bond at press time.
•Lloyd Martin Jr., 8693 Mandella Lane, New Roads, was charged February 24, with possession of marijuaua. Martin was being held in jail on a $1,500 bail at press time.
•Joshua Dwayne Foster, 8929 Mandella Lane, New Roads, was charged February 24, with possession of marijuana. Foster was being held in jail on a $1,500 bond at press time.
•Brittany Smith, 32, 371 Robertson St., Morganza, was charged February 24, with possession of marijuana and introducing contraband into a penal system. Smith was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Paul Tourone, 32, 3838 Highway 13, Mamou, was charged February 25, with domestic abuse battery. Tourone was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
•Kira Ogonawski, 28, 3838 Highway 13, Mamou, was charged February 25, with domestic abuse battery and resisting an officer. Ogonawski was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Eddie Wayne Seriale, 53, 810 N. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was charged February 27, with disturbing the peace, aggravated assault, second degree battery and unauthorized entry. Seriale was being held in jail on a $25,000 bond at press time.
•Jeffrey Allen Cox Jr., 25, 14562 Veterans Memorial Highway, Turkey Creek, was charged February 27, with possession of Schedule IV, driving under suspension, no liability insurance and cancelled plate. Cox was being held in jail on a $7,500 bond at press time.
•Harley John Mantalvo, 18, 1270 Oliver Lane, St. Landry, was charged February 27, with operating an ATV on a public roadway. Mantalvo was being held in jail on a $220.50 bond at press time.
•Nicholas Paul Carter, 26, 1777 Highway 115, St. Landry, was charged February 27, with operating an ATV on a public roadway. Carter was being held in jail on a $220.50 bond at press time.
•Logan Seth Morrison, 18, 350 S. Ninth St., Eunice, was charged March 1, with DWI (first offense), open container, headlight required, no seat belt and public intoxication. Morrison was released from jail on a $1,549.50 bond.
•Amanda Rena Dies, 20, 431 E. Dean St., Eunice, was charged March 1, with DWI (first offense) and careless operation. Dies was released from jail on a $1,266.50 bond.
•Ritchie Allen Fruge, 38, 1285 Spillway Road, Ville Platte, was charged March 2, with DWI (first offense) and stop sign violation. Fuge was released from jail on a $1,201.50 bond.
•Jordan Casey Lafleur, 26, 325 Rue De Ames, Ville Platte, was charged March 2, with DWI (first offense) and no driver’s license on person. Lafleur was released from jail on a $1,268 bond.
•Kylane Ray Washington, 47, 1533 W. Blanchard St., Opelousas, was charged March 1, with DWI (second offense) and careless operation. Washington was released from jail on a $1,916.50 bond.
•Broson Joseph St. Reman, 28, 2301 Vakey St., Mansora, was charged March 2, with DWI (second offense), careless operation, no seat belt and vehicular negligence with injury. St. Reman was released from jail on a $3,500 bond.
