VPPD Arrest Reports

The Ville Platte Police Department reported 3 recent booking into the town jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Gerald Joseph, 28, 501 W. Dupre St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 31, 2015 for no license. Joseph was released from jail.
• Lomirska West, 18, 812 N. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 2, 2016 for no reflective gear, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of alcohol, and possession of a schedule I. West remains incarcerated on a $5,300.00 bond.
• Murphy Lemelle, 27, 714 N. Stagg St., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 2, 2016 for no reflective gear and resisting arrest. Lemelle was released from jail on a $950.00 bond.
