VPPD Arrest Reports

The Ville Platte Police Department reported seven recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
•Larry Arvie, 49, 707 W. Hickory, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 12, 2016 for domestic abuse battery. Arvie’s bond was set at $1,000.00 and he made bail.
•Reonn Freeman, 17, 502 Dr. Carver, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 13, 2016 for discharging a firearm in city limits. Freeman’s bond was set at $2,500.00 and he made bail.
•Anastasia Leday, 32, 711 MLK Drive, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 14, 2016 for criminal mischief. Leday’s bond was set at $200.00 and she made bail.
•Jermaine Laurnette, 38, 1408 MLK Drive, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 13, 2016 for no reflective gear/prohibited acts. Laurnette remains in custody.
•Catina Rose, 707 W. Hickory, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 12, 2016 for domestic abuse battery. Rose’s bond was set at $1,000 and she made bail.
•Joshua Edwards, 24, 933 W. Long Street, #48, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 13, 2016 for loitering, open container, DTP by drunkenness. Edwards’ bond was set at $650.00 and he made bail.
•Nicholas Edwards, 21, 933 W. Long Street, #48, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 13, 2016 for loitering, prohibited acts, open container, possession of schedule I substance. Edwards’ bond was set $5,450.00 and he made bail.
