VPPD Arrest Reports

The Ville Platte Police Department reported 10 recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Richard Prejean, 58, 9367 Rushwood Dr., was arrested on October 8, 2016 for disturbing the peace by intoxication. Prejean’s bond was set at $200.00.
• Deonte Williams, 20, 1007 Rev. Ed Alfred St., Ville Platte, was arrested on October 9, 2016 for simple battery and disturbing the peace. Williams was released from jail on a $1,200.00 bond.
• Warren Frank, 22, 119 Demourelle St., Ville Platte, was arrested on October 9, 2016 for simple battery and disturbing the peace. Frank was released from jail on a $1,200.00 bond.
• John Phillips, 38, 513 E. Jackson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on October 10, 2016 for criminal damage to property, careless operation, and possession of marijuana. Phillips’ bond was set at $3,700.00.
• Alexis Frank, 33, 1186 N. Chataignier St. Apt. #16, Ville Platte, was arrested on October 7, 2016 for theft. Frank was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
• Martha Charles, 31, 702 N. Latour St., Ville Platte, was arrested on October 7, 2016 for theft. Charles was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
• Leslie Jones, 26, 305 E. Jefferson St., Ville Platte, was arrested October 7, 2016 for theft. Jones was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
• Adam Celestine, 28, 1710 L’anse Aux Pailles Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on October 9, 2016 for simple damage to property. Celestine was released from jail on a $700.00 bond.
• Jaonnie Arvie, 28, 706 Deroune St., Ville Platte, was arrested on October 10, 2016 for disturbing the peace. Arvie’s bond was set at $200.00.
• Nicholas Chapman, 27, 904 S. Chataignier St., Ville Platte was arrested on October 10, 2016 for criminal mischief. Chapman was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
