Engagement announced

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hilliard of Crowley are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jan Erin to Mario Corzo of Youngsville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Flossie Monceaux of Crowley, and Clara and the late Peter Haure of Rayne.

Jan is a graduate of Notre Dame High School of Crowley, and a 2007 Cum Laude graduate of the University of Louisiana with a bachelor of arts degree. While attending the university she was a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda Honors Society and was very active in various theatre productions. Jan is currently self-employed.

The groom-elect is the son of Mario and Yvonne Corzo of Opelousas, and Kathleen Timmons of Houma. He is the grandson of the late Robert and Francis Esthete of Houma, and the late Juan and Feliza Corzo of Guatemala.

Mario is a graduate of Vanderbilt Catholic High School. He also attended Nichols State and Tulane University, where he received his MBA from Tulane. He is currently self-employed as a landman.

The couple will be wed on Saturday, June 14 during a noon ceremony at the Townhouse Restaurant in Lafayette. Reverend Brian Comeaux will officiate the ceremony.

After the wedding the newly wedded couple will reside in Youngsville.
