Harrison J. Fontenot Jr.

August 26, 1956 - April 15, 2013

Funeral services were held for Harrison J. Fontenot Jr., 56, of Ville Platte, at the LaVille Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 17. Burial followed in the Ortego Cemetery.

Mr. Fontenot died Monday, April 15, 2013, at his residence. His favorite past time was his love of discussing politics.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Vidrine Fontenot of Ville Platte; his mother, Ruby Nell Fontenot of Ville Platte; two daughters, Linda Girourd of Ville Platte and Cassey Marks of Grand Prairie; two sisters, Rita Meche of Ville Platte and Elizabeth Soileau of St. Landry; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harrison J. Fontenot Sr.; one son, Paul Odom; one brother, Karly Fontenot; and one sister, Earline Faye Fontenot.
