EUNICE -- It was an important night for both the Ville Platte Bulldogs and the Lady Bulldogs as they traveled to Bobcat country Tuesday night to take on Eunice High.
For the Lady Bulldogs, it was a chance to remain undefeated in District 5-3A play and continue to try and rise in the playoff ranking before the regular season comes to a close.
The Bulldogs needed a win to keep pace with the Northwest Raiders and have a shot at a district title down the stretch.
Both teams did what it needed to fulfill their end of the year destinies, as the Lady Bulldogs exploded past the Lady Bobcats 61-38 and the Bulldogs eased by the Bobcats in a 66-56 win.
Here is a rundown of those two games.
