After back-to-back road trips, the Sacred Heart Trojans get to return home to play on their own turf. What’s even better is the fact that the North Central Hurricanes (1-4) are coming to town. The Canes have struggled this year and have just one win over winless Gueydan.
Mamou (1-4) gets set to hit the road to face the DeQuincy Tigers (2-3) to begin 4-2A competition. The Tigers are coming off of a 13-27 loss to Oakdale, while Mamou is coming off of a heartbreaking loss to Class 1A power Montgomery.
The Sacred Heart Trojans pitched their second shutout in two weeks with a 30-0 win over Evangeline Parish opponent Pine Prairie. The Trojans blanked Mamou last week 40-0, marking their first win of the season and their first shutout.
