Sacred Heart slips past St. Ed’s; Pine Prairie blitzes Northwest

What should have been an easy win for the Sacred Heart baseball team turned into a fight, as the Trojans had to score the winning run in their final at bat to secure an 11-10 win over St. Ed’s at home Tuesday afternoon.

Resilient win

VILLE PLATTE – It took until the final at bat before the Sacred Heart Lady Trojan softball team could claim their first district win of the season, as they slid past the Opelousas Catholic Lady Vikings 12-11 here Tuesday afternoon.

Pine Prairie scores big win; Sacred Heart falls to Notre Dame

It was another big day for the Pine Prairie Lady Panthers, as they picked up their fourth straight district win with a 13-1 run-rule victory over the Eunice Lady Bobcats at home Thursday afternoon.

Sacred Heart powers past Oak Hill; falls to Breaux Bridge Tigers

VILLE PLATTE — It looks like it is going to be another one of those years for the Sacred Heart baseball team.
After defeating Port Barre on Tuesday by one run, the Trojans traveled to Breaux Bridge for a make-up game from last week.
