Tournoi royalty crowned September 21

The 65th annual Junior, Teen and Louisiana Tournoi Queen Pageant was held Saturday, September 21, 2013, at the Northside Civic Center. The new queens, along with the runners-up, were selected in the following categories:

Junior Tournoi Queen: McKenzie Claire Walker, the daughter of Kevin and Jolay Walker of Ville Platte, was named Junior Tournoi Queen. McKenzie Blaire Maynard, the daughter of Keisha Maynard of Crowley, was named first runner-up to the queen.

Teen Tournoi Queen: The title of Teen Tournoi Queen went to Ciera Morein, the daughter of Dextor and Missie Morein of Ville Platte. Runners-up to the queen were Heidi Bieber, the daughter of Kody and Shelly Bieber of Mamou, first runner-up; and Leah Fontenot, the daughter of Kirk and Anita Fontenot of Ville Platte. Bieber also was named most photogenic. 

Louisiana Tournoi Queen: Lundon Ledoux, the daughter of Kyle and Shelly Ledoux of Basile, was crowned Louisiana Tournoi Queen. Elizabeth Lafleur, the daughter of Darin and Debbie Lafleur of Washington, was named runner-up to the queen. Lafleur also was named most photogenic.
