EPSO and MPD Arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 10 recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• August Castille, 47, was arrested on November 1, 2016 for distribution/manufacture of a schedule II. Castille’s bond was set at $$35,000.00.
• Travis Dupre, 28, was arrested on November 1, 2016 for simple battery. Dupre’s bond was set at $12,500.00.
• Michael Arvie was arrested on November 1, 2016 for domestic abuse battery and and prohibited acts. Arvie’s bond was set at $9,000.00.
• Joseph Launey, 40, was arrested on November 1, 2016 for distribution/manufacture of a schedule II.
• Travis Boone, 57, was arrested on November 2, 2016 for simple criminal damage to property, simple burglary and theft. Boone’s bond was set at $75,000.00.
• Jeremy Miller was arrested on November 2, 2016 for obscenity.
• Donald Edwards, 52, was arrested on November 3, 2016 for theft (felony), theft (misdemeanor), simple burglary of a pharmacy, criminal mischief, simple criminal damage to property (felony), criminal damage to coin-operated devices and simple criminal damge to property (misdemeanor). Edwards’s bond was set at $245,000.00.
• Jamie Fruge, was arrested on November 3, 2016 for simple battery. Fruge’s bond was set at $75,000.00.
• Arthur Sittig, 46, was arrested on November 3, 2016 for distribution/manufacture of a schedule II (three counts), prohibited acts and no driver’s license. Sittig’s bond was set at $320,000.00.
• Wayne Celestine was arrested on November 3, 2016 for unauthorized use of an acess card as theft. Celestine’s bond was set at $$25,000.00.

The Mamou Police Department reported 11 recent bookings into the city jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Tyrone Andrus Jr., 916 Jacobs Ave., Crowley, was arrested December 9, 2016 for possession of marijuana.
• Xavier Johnson, 109 Clyde Loop, Crowley, was arrested December 9, 2016 for possession of marijuana.
• Anthony Wilson, 1212 Lurose Dr., Crowley, was arrested December 9, 2016 for possession of marijuana.
• Cory Johnson, 217 7th St., Mamou, was arrested December 12, 2016 for probation and Eunice City Court warrant.
• Coty Cain Manuel, 428 7th St., Mamou, was arrested December 16, 2016 for domestic abuse battery.
• Carlos Cortez Skinner, 1164 N Chataignier, Ville Platte, was arrested on December 16, 2016 for simple criminal damage to property.
• Bryan K. Ben, 6362 Pine Point Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 16, 2016 for possession of Schedule I marijuana.
• Richard B. Jack, 501 Maple St., Mamou, was arrested December 19, for distrubing the peace by intoxication.
• Corey Jones, 134 Linten Lane, Eunice, was arreseted December 21, 2016 for remaining after forbidden.
• Damien Williams, 1067 Shorty Lane, Mamou, was arrested December 24, 2016 for attempted armed robbery and two warrants.
• Tronze D. Sam, 522 East St. Apt. 2, Mamou. was arrested for domestic abuse battery.
