The Turkey Creek Police Department recently reported the arrest of a Ward-5 firefighter for indecent behavior with a juvenile.
In a release from the TCPD, it states, “On October 9, 2017, the TCPD received a complaint from Ward-5 Fire Chief Bobby Guilbeau.” The fire chief shared that “concerns were expressed by an unknown source that an employee at the fire station was having inappropriate contact and behavior with a juvenile.”
Although the TCPD has not released the name of the individual arrested, the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office was able to confirm that the man accused of committing this crime is 23-year-old Ezra Madrigal, of 14393 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Ville Platte.
According to the TCPD’s release, “security cameras were installed at the fire station and once reviewed, the contents were brought to the police department.”
On October 10, 2017, Officer Richard McMurray, with the TCPD, executed an arrest warrant on Madrigal, who was then booked into the parish jail and charged with indecent behavior of a juvenile.
According to the officer, the victim in this matter is a 12-year-old male juvenile.
At this time, Madrigal remains incarcerated on a $50,000 bond.
