Man found dead at Oberlin High

Classes in Oberlin were cancelled Tuesday after authorities found Stacey Beaubouef, 48, dead of a self inflected gunshot to the head in front of Oberlin High School.
Allen Parish Sheriff Doug Hebert said a preliminary investigation indicated that Beaubouef used a shotgun, which was found at the scene. Beaubouef’s body was discovered at 5:30 a.m.
“Reasons for the location are still unknown,” Sheriff Hebert said. “We are continuing our investigation.”
