Swamp Pop Reunion XI is set for Feb. 8 at VP Civic Center

The Louisiana Swamp Pop Museum and the City of Ville Platte are proud to announce that tickets for Swamp Pip Reunion XI are now on sale. The 11th annual reunion dance will take place during Mardi Gras week on Monday, February 8, 2016, at the Ville Platte Civic Center.
This year’s entertainment will feature a host of Swam Pop music legends. Artist scheduled to appear include Warren Storm, Willie Tee, Johnnie Allan, Tommy McLain, G.G. Shinn, Charles Mann, Jay Randall, Grace Broussard, Van Broussard, T.K. Hulin, Rod Bernard, Bert Miller, Jerry Raines, “Prince” Charles Veillon, V.J. Boulet, Greg Martinez, and Tommy G. They will all be backed by the Cypress Band and an all-star horn section featuring Earl Taylor and Mike Vice.
In addition to the fabulous music, there will also be a cash bar and jambalaya available. Fans will also have chances to win door prizes and drawing during the dance.
Tickets for Swamp Pop Reunion XI are $20 each. They can be purchased at the Louisiana Swamp Pop Museum, KVPI Radio and Ville Platte City Hall. Each ticket includes free admission to the museum in Ville Platte on the day of the reunion. The annual fund raising dance benefits and promotes the Louisiana Swamp Pop Museum.
