Mamou police report 12 recent jail bookings

The Mamou Police Department reported 12 recent bookings into the town jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Justin Kayne Richard, age unknown, 1072 Sam Lake Road, Mamou, was charged October 7, with theft over $500 and burglary. Richard was transported to the parish jail.
•Susan Sam, 45, 909 Hickory St., Mamou, was charged October 10, with disturbing the peace with language. Sam bonded out of jail the same day.
•Helen Israel, 45, 1611 Cajun Drive, #121, Mamou, was charged October 8, with disturbing the peace with language. Israel was released from jail.
•Mark Skinner Jr., 22, 212 Chestnut, Mamou, was charged October 10, with disturbing the peace with language. Skinner was released from jail.
•David K. Aucoin Jr., 28, 311 Meg Road, Mamou, was charged October 14, with simple battery. Aucoin bonded out of jail the same day.
•Lawrence Chorlut, 42, 521 East St., #4, Mamou, was charged October 15, with domestic abuse battery. Chorlut was released from jail.
•Richard Lang, 46, 1022 Oliver Lake, St. Landry, was charged October 16, with disturbing the peace in a violent manner. Lang was released from jail.
•Brenda Williams, 49, 1067 Shorty Lane, Mamou, was charged October 16, with disturbing the peace in a violent manner. Williams was released from jail with a citation.
•Jo Ann Carpenter Shuff, 50, 1209 Grace Lane, Mamou, was charged October 16, with theft by shoplifting. Shuff was released from jail.
•Charles Tyler Jurls, 23, 1240 Yukon St., Eunice, was charged October 16, with theft. Jurls bonded out of jail.
•Haley Johnson, 26, 205 East St., Apt. 130, Mamou, was charged October 19, with theft by shoplifting. Johnson bonded out of jail.
•Erliss Celestine Jr., 43, 1212 Highway 95, Mamou, was charged October 20, with domestic abuse battery. Celestine remained in jail at press time.
