VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Mr. Ambrose Fontenot, 92, will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2017 at Sacred Heart Chapel in Belaire Cove with burial to follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Ville Platte. Fr. Glodd will officiate.
Mr. Fontenot a resident of Ville Platte passed away Monday, July 3, 2017 at Mercy Regional Medical Center.
He will be missed by his sons Robert Wayne Fontenot and wife Jo of Salt Lake City, Kenneth Fontenot of Ville Platte; sister Anna Lou Fontenot of Ville Platte; 2 grandchildren Margaret Fontenot, Glenn Fontenot. He is preceded in death by his parents Atale and Edna Soileau Fontenot, wife Rose Dupre Fontenot, son Carroll Bruce Fontenot, sister Mary Ella Bordelon.
Visitation will be held Thursday July 6, 2017 from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m., and will resume again Friday July 7, 2017 from 8 a.m. until the time of services.
