Caitlyn Ann Fontenot

Funeral services were held for Caitlyn Ann Fontenot, 17, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 5. Burial followed in the Jules Cemetery.
Miss Fontenot died Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Survivors include her devoted parents, Shannon and Sheila Fontenot of Ville Platte; her beloved sister, Megan Fontenot of Ville Platte; and her paternal grandparents, Winston Fontenot and Leta Fontenot of Ville Platte. She was blessed with a precious godchild and niece, Ainslee Brown of Ville Platte. She will also be sadly missed by the father of her son, Olanjurwan Leday. She leaves behind numerous friends and classmates. Her bright smile and sweet laugh will be remembered by all whom were lucky enough to have known her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved infant son, Kylen Reese Leday; and her maternal grandparents, James and Ethel Lee Brown Johnson.
Father Brian Harrington officiated.
