Cherrie Renee Krusynsky Barber

Funeral services will be held for Cherrie Renee Krusynsky Barber, 49, of Baton Rouge, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 20. Burial will follow in the M.B. Fontenot Cemetery.
A loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Mrs. Barber died Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at her residence.
Survivors include her husband of 13 years, David Glen Barber of Walker; her mother, Barbara Smith Kruszynsky of Ville Platte; three sons, Joshua Paul LaFleur of Galiano, Jordan Casey LaFleur of Bayou Chicot and Brandon Mitchell DesHotel of Ville Platte; one daughter, Ambrea Renee DesHotel of Walker; two brothers, James Mitchell Kruszynsky and his wife, Genie, of Denham Springs and Louis Anthony Soileau of Ville Platte; and one sister, Sheila Jean Richard and her husband, Wayne, of Ville Platte. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her two grandchildren, Paisley LaFleur and Isabella DesHotel; and her four-legged friend, April Renee Barber.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Chester Kruszynsky; and her nephew, Justin Mitchell Kruszynsky.
Pastor Kevin West will officiate.
