Ville Platte – A Funeral Service for Baby Ellis Jude Rushing was held Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Kevin West officiated the service.
Baby Ellis Rushing is survived by his parents, Marla Rushing and Garret Berzas; sister, Eisley Berzas; maternal grandparent, Kirk Fontenot; maternal great-grandmother, Marjorie Fontenot; paternal grandparents, Kim and Keith Dupre and Lonnie Fontenot; aunts, Carly McDonald and husband, Steven, April Godwin and husband, Bobby, Allison Dupre and Danielle Dupre; and uncles, Elijah Fontenot and wife, Jenna, Jacob Rushing and wife, Grace, and Travis Dupre and wife, Naomi.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Simone Rushing; uncle, Gabriel Fontenot; maternal great-grandfather, Floyd Fontenot; paternal great-grandfather, Allen Berzas; and paternal great-grandmother, Frieda Saucier.
The family requests that donations be made in Baby Ellis’s name to Maddie’s Footprints at P.O. Box 404 Youngsville, LA 70592.
Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.
