VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Elton Arvie, 57, will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11:30 a.m in Williams Funeral Home of Ville Platte Chapel.
Arvie, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at his residence.
Arvie leaves to cherish his legacy, three brothers: Hersey Arvie (Olivia), Melvin Arvie (Rose) all of Mamou, and Milton Arvie (Toni) of Houston, Texas; six sisters Joyce Jack of Mamou, Essie Thomas and Mary Lee (Robert) all of Beaumont, Texas, Ethel Taylor (Joe) of Baytown, Texas, Gertie Johnwell (Clifton) of Bastrop, and Rella Mae Griffin (Joe) Houston, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
Arvie was preceded in death by his parents Clifton and Rose Freeman and one brother Francis Arvie.
Williams Funeral Home of Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
