Funeral services will be held for Francis W. Reed, 56, of Belaire Cove, at First Baptist Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 31. Burial will follow in the M.B. Fontenot Cemetery.
Mr. Reed died Tuesday, July 29, 2014.
Survivors include his loving wife, Bonnie Dupre Reed of Belaire Cove; one daughter, Tabitha Trailer and her husband, Joseph, of Crowley; one step-daughter, Julie Lafleur Reed and her husband, Robert “Bob,” of Ville Platte; one step-son, Tracy Lafleur and his wife, Yvette, of Broussard; one brother, Patrick Reed and his partner, Bryan Camus, of New Orleans; one sister, Rose Marie Reed of Alexandria; nine grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Hassa Lafleur Reed; and one grandson, Jordan Reed.
