Geraldine “Gerry” Dupre

Funeral services were held for Geraldine “Gerry” Dupre, 73, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte on Sunday, October 18. Burial followed in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery.
Ms. Dupre died Thursday, October 15, 2015, at St. Landry Extended Care Hospital in Opelousas.
Survivors include her loving son, Tony Hampshire and his wife, Ruth, of Ville Platte; one daughter, Patti Lafleur and her husband, David, of Ville Platte; one brother, Jerry Demoruelle of Baton Rouge; three grandchildren, Jared Lafleur and his wife, Molly, Nicole Hampshire and Adam Hampshire; one great-grandchild, Kathryn Lafleur and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emile and Adeline Manuel Demoruelle; and her husband, Roy Dupre.
