Funeral visitation will be held for Harold L. Fautheree, 84, of Eunice, at the LaVille Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., Friday, September 25.
Mr. Fautheree died Monday, September 21, 2015. He was a resident of Cajun Campground in Eunice. He was a retired Naval photographer, who proudly served the U.S. Navy while stationed in Hawaii.
Survivors include one son, Douglas Eugene Fautheree and his wife, Brenda, of Transylvania; two step-sons, Blaine Matte of Ville Platte and Farley Matte of Patterson; one step-daughter, Lori Matte of Breaux Bridge; one brother, W.L.”Dub” Fautheree of San Antonio, Texas; two grandchildren, Dr. Gregory Lee Fautheree and his wife, Sarah, and Laura Fautheree Bryant; one step-granddaughter, Dayna Hasegawa; six great-grandchildren, Brock Bryant, Amanda Moreland Bryant, Mary Elizabeth Bryant, Avery Fautheree, Molly Fautheree and Condrey Fautheree.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ledell and Gladys Gough Fautheree; his first wife, Edna Fautheree; his second wife, Ursula Matte; one brother, Douglas (Neg) Fautheree; and one sister, Maxine Fautheree Pacey.
In lieu of flowers, donations many be made in Fatheree’s memory to the Wounded Warrier Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Florida 32256.
