James Randall DeLafosse

PINE PRAIRIE - Funeral services will be held for James Randall DeLafosse, 52, of Pine Prairie, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Pine Prairie at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 29. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Delafosse died Wednesday, March 26, 2014. His bright eyes and huge smile always will be fondly remembered by all who were lucky enough to have enjoyed his companionship.
Survivors include his beloved siblings, Phillip DeLafosse and his wife, Teri, of Easton and Veronica Ortego and her husband, J.C., and Ramona Compton and her husband, Jason, all of Pine Prairie. He will also be sadly missed by his step-father, George Granger of Pine Prairie. His memory will be cherished by his nephews, Devin and Joshua Ortego, Jacob and Cory Compton and Dylan DeLafosse; and his great-nieces and great-nephew, Sarah Ortego, Olivia Compton and Nicholas Ortego.
He was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Hersey DeLafosse and Mary DeLafosse Granger.
Father Richard Broussard will officiate.
