Jane Ortego O’Connor

Funeral services were held for Jane Ortego O’Connor, 73, of Ville Platte, at the LaVille Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 12. Burial followed in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Ms. O’Connor died Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Savoy Care Center in Mamou.
Survivors include two sons, Roy O’Connor and his wife, Michelle T., of Oberlin and Peter O’Connor and his wife, Paula, of Ville Platte; two daughters, Debbie Brewer of Youngsville and Patty Guillory of Ville Platte; three brothers, Joseph Nelwood Ortego of Pine Prairie and Harvey Ortego and Jimmy Ortego, both of Eunice; one sister, Barbara Weideman of Eunice; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Joseph Harris O’Connor.
Deacon Eugene LeBoeuf officiated.
