John Richard “Ricky” Ardoin

Funeral services were held for John Richard “Ricky” Ardoin, 58, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 11. Burial followed in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
A loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, Mr. Ardoin died Monday, March 9, 2015.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Sue Ledoux Ardoin of Ville Platte; one son, Nicholas Ardoin of Ville Platte; one daughter, Abby Lynn Belleau and her husband, Joseph, of Eunice; one brother, Gary Ardoin of Alexandria; two sisters, Frieda Morein of Lake Charles and Jackie Ardoin of Texas; and three grandchildren, Brianna Belleau, Allie Belleau and Kameron Ardoin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffery and Ellen Ardoin; and one brother, Roger Wayne Ardoin.
Father Jason Vidrine officiated.
