Lena Belle McDaniel Savant

WHITEVILLE - Funeral services were held for Lena Belle McDaniel Savant, 83, of Whiteville, at The Chapel of the Resurrection Church in Whiteville at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 13. Burial followed in the church mausoleum.
Ms. Savant died Monday, August 11, 2014, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Opelousas.
Survivors include two sons, Robert (Bob) Savant of Eunice and Don Murray Savant of Youngsville; two daughters, Susan Bourgogne of Opelousas and Ann Carol Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Murray Savant; her parents, Onezime and Viola McDaniel; and one brother, Ulysse Lee Lee McDaniel.
Father Michael Guidry officiated.
