Funeral services for Lorenia Lafleur were held Friday, March 17, 2017, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Ville Platte. Interment followed in Antioch Missionary Baptist Cemetery in Ville Platte. Pastor E. Ben officiated the service.
Lafleur, 84, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017, at her residence in Ville Platte and is survived by three sons, Alfred Lafleur (Meryln), Robert Lafleur (Elvina) and Dannie Lafleur, all of Ville Platte; a daughter, Rita Lafleur Davis, of Stafford, Texas; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Lafleur was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Lafleur and her parents, Johnnie Toussaint and Emily Stevens Toussaint.
Williams Funeral Home of Opelousas was in charge of arrangements.
