Lucas Nathaniel Messer

Funeral services will be held for Lucas Nathaniel Messer, 29, of Bayou Chicot, at First Baptist Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 8. Burial will follow in the Turkey Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Messer died Monday, October 5, 2015, at his residence.
Survivors include his mother, Twyala Chaddrick Messer of Bayou Chicot; two brothers, Brice Messer and his wife, Kylie, and Chris Messer, all of Bayou Chicot; his maternal grandparents, Herman and Arlene Chaddrick of Turkey Creek; his paternal grandmother, Juanita Messer of Pineville; and two nephews, Evan and Jace Messer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lucas Ray Messer.
Rev. Kevin West will officiate.
