Mary Theresa Reed

Funeral services were held for Mary Theresa Reed, 75, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 3. Burial followed in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Reed died Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Dr. F. Dale Reed of Ville Platte; one son, Bubba Reed and his wife, Danyelle, of Ville Platte; and two daughters, Susan Reed Holden and her husband, Ron, of Watson and Sally Reed Saloom and her husband, Charles, of Lafayette. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her eight grandchildren, Tiffany Holden, Alicen Holden Albin and her husband, Aaron, Elise Holden, Britton Holden, Hannah Reed Holmes and her husband, Jace, Hunter Reed, Kelli Saloom and Nicholas Saloom; and one great-grandchild, Adeline Malagari.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence A. and Marie Soileau; and her sister, Rosalyn Holmes.
Father Cedric Sonnier and Father Richard Vidrine officiated.
