OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held for Melissa G. Chambers, 43, of Opelousas, at the Community Chapel Church of God in Christ in Opelouas at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 10. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park.
Ms. Chambers died Saturday, January 3, 2015, in Opelousas.
Survivors include her mother, Theresa C. Rosette and her step-father, Lionel Rosette Sr. of Opelousas; her loving companion, Edward Adams Jr. of Loreauville; two sisters, Nicole Poullard (Gus Guillory) of Opelousas and Ursula Rosette (Mike Mayo) of Channelview, Texas; three step-sisters; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Lionel B. Rosette Jr.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 10, from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., at the Community Chapel Church of God in Christ in Opelouas.
Rev. Frank L. Ford will officiate.
