Visitation for Michael Eugene Danielson will be Sunday, October 30, 2016 in Mamou at Ardoin Funeral Home beginning at 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday, October 31, 2016 at 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:30 AM in the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Fort Polk.
A longtime resident of Mamou, Danielson, 71, passed away October 27, 2016.
Danielson was born to the late Frederick and Lillian Danielson November 17, 1944 in Port Arthur, Texas. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He worked in the Louisiana oilfields for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Danielson is preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Lillian Danielson and two brothers, Patrick Danielson and Anthony Pommier.
Danielson leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughter, Felisha Fusilier; son, Byron Danielson and his wife, Sigrid; sisters, Helen Burgess and her husband, Pastor Billy, and Belinda Cole and husband, Bickford; his former wife Frances Danielson; sisters-in-law, Debbie Danielson, and Diane Douget; two brothers-in-law Randy Miller and his wife, Sara, and Ricky Miller; and 13 nephews and four nieces.
Ardoin Funeral Home in Mamou is in charge of arrangements.
