VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Peggy Fontenot Lejeune, 67, were held at Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial followed in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery. Fr. Taj Glodd officiated.
Lejeune, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center.
She will be greatly missed by her husband Donald Lejeune of Ville Platte; daughters, Hayley Lejeune, of Lafayette, April Mothes and husband, Will, of Ville Platte, and Hope Allison Myers and husband, Brad, of Cypress, Texas; sisters, Sandy Pitre and husband, Freddie, of Ville Platte, and Sue Manuel of Florida; eight grandchildren, Graham Walker, Camden Walker, Halen Granger, Amelia Myers, Isabella Myers, Felicity Soileau, Madalyn Soileau and Max Soileau; four step-grandchildren, Blake Mothes, Cameron Mothes, Bianca Mothes and Codin Mothes; and one great- granddaughter, Emariah Fontenot. She is preceded in death by her parents Clifton and Bertha Deville Fontenot.
LaVille Funeral Home in Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.
