Funeral services will be held for Ronald Chester Kruszynsky, 75, of Ville Platte, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 11. Burial will follow in the M.B. Fontenot Cemetery.
A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, Mr. Kruszynsky died Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at Lafayette General Medical Center. He was employed by Pennzoil Oil for over 30 years and was also a United States Air Force Veteran.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara Smith Kruszynsky of Ville Platte; two sons, James Mitchell Kruszynsky and his wife, Genie, of Denham Springs and Louis Anthony Soileau of Ville Platte; and two daughters, Sheila Jean Richard and her husband, Wayne, of Ville Platte and Cherrie Rene Barber and her husband, David, of Walker. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his family and friends, he will be greatly missed by his four-legged friend and poodle, Stewart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Alice Cherrie Kruszynsky; one sister, Cherrie Lanore; and one grandson, Justin Mitchell Kruszynsky.
Rev. Kevin West will officiate.
