Shannon Kirk Fontenot

Funeral services will be held for Shannon Kirk Fontenot, 53, of Vidrine, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 13. Burial will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Mr. Fontenot died Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at his residence.
Survivors include  his loving wife, Tammy King Fontenot of Vidrine; one son, Wyatt Kirk Fontenot of Vidrine; three daughters, Lindsey Fontenot Roberts of Plaisance and Brittany Fontenot Miller and Alivia Fontenot Cortina, both of Vidrine; his father, Darnel Fontenot of Pine Prairie; his mother, Geraldine Guillory of Mamou; three brothers, Steve Fontenot, Joey Fontenot and Adrian Fontenot, all of Ville Platte; two sisters, Debra Soileau of Mamou and Pam Fontenot of Chataignier; and four grandchildren, Ily Roberts, Audrey Miller, Marly Roberts and Max Miller.
