Vernon Dale Comeaux

Funeral services were held for Vernon Dale Comeaux, 60, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 20. Burial followed in the M.B Fontenot Cemetery.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, Mr. Comeaux died Sunday, August 17, 2014, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Survivors include his loyal wife of 38 years, Rita Gayle Vidrine Comeaux of Ville Platte; and their children, Christopher Comeaux and his companion, Kim Brown, of Plaisance and Jeremy Comeaux and his wife, Brittany, Lorrie Taffi and her husband, James, and Abby Comeaux, all of Ville Platte. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his precious grandchildren, Areonna Pierce, Hunter Comeaux, Kaleb Taffi and Landon Comeaux. Also left behind are his brothers, Michael Comeaux, Carl Comeaux and his wife, Ruby, David Comeaux and Russell Comeaux, all of Ville Platte.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Irby and Mary Goldie Lavergne Comeaux; and one sister, Janell Comeaux.
Father Mitchell Guidry officiated.
